Complaint and appeal process · effective September 28, 2026
A documented path for concerns and review.
Learners and members of the public may raise a good-faith concern about access, instruction, records, conduct, privacy, charges, advertising, certificates, credentials, or Academy administration without retaliation.
The public information area is open without sign-in. Enrollment and protected learning remain owner-approved while the Institute obtains a written North Carolina proprietary-school licensing or exemption determination. Catalog publication does not mean a course is available for unrestricted purchase.
Read the student policies and disclosures1. Submit the concern
Email rrew@reiki-rife.com with the subject “ICR Academy Complaint,” or mail it to ICR Academy, 101A Forest Drive, Knightdale, NC 27545. Include your name and a safe contact method, the course or matter involved, relevant dates, a factual description, the resolution requested, and supporting records that are safe and lawful to share.
2. Acknowledgment and review
The Institute will acknowledge receipt, preserve the complaint record, identify who will review it, seek only information reasonably needed, and provide a written outcome. Urgent safety, privacy, access, or record-integrity concerns may receive temporary protective action while review continues.
3. Internal appeal
If the person disagrees with the outcome, the person may request an internal appeal in writing and explain the claimed factual, procedural, or policy error. When practical, a person who did not make the original decision will review the appeal. Credential and academic decisions remain subject to the published competency and integrity requirements.
4. External route
The Institute will add the applicable North Carolina regulator, contact information, filing instructions, and any required time limits after receiving a written licensing or exemption determination. Nothing in this process prevents a person from using a lawful external remedy.
Privacy and non-retaliation
Complaint information will be shared only as reasonably necessary to review, respond, protect people or records, or comply with law. Do not email medical records, authentication credentials, private keys, or unnecessary personal information. Retaliation for a good-faith complaint or participation in a review is prohibited.
