Public student policy center · effective September 28, 2026

Know the terms before you enroll.

These public policies explain the Academy’s current boundaries and student protections. Course-specific enrollment terms will supplement—not silently replace—these policies.

01

Enrollment and admission

Public browsing never enrolls a visitor. Paid public enrollment is not currently open. Enrollment in an active course requires an Institute offer or approval, the applicable enrollment agreement, disclosed tuition and fees, and any stated prerequisites. Professional-program admission may require age, prior education, scope, ethics, identity, and suitability review.

02

Attendance and participation

Online participation is measured through assigned learning items, required exercises, assessment activity, and other course-specific requirements rather than time spent with a browser tab open. Each enrollment agreement will identify its start date, access period, expected pace, attendance requirements, permitted interruption, and make-up process.

03

Academic progress

Formal assessments normally require a score of at least 80%. Designated safety, consent, ethics, scope, or integrity items may also require correct responses. A learner who does not meet the applicable standard may receive remediation, another permitted attempt, an interruption, or dismissal under the course-specific terms.

04

Conduct and academic integrity

Impersonation, plagiarism, fabricated practice evidence, falsified records, unauthorized collaboration, misuse of protected materials, harassment, retaliation, or disclosure of another person's private information may result in investigation, remediation, suspension, dismissal, certificate correction, or credential review. A learner will receive notice and an opportunity to respond before a final adverse academic decision, except where immediate temporary restriction is needed to protect people or records.

05

Prior learning and transfer credit

No transfer credit, advanced standing, or credit for prior training is guaranteed. Any recognition of prior learning must be documented, evaluated against the current course outcomes, and approved in writing by the Institute. Academic completion does not automatically establish professional credential eligibility.

06

Certificates and credentials

A course certificate records successful completion of the named course. CBRP and CCRP are separate private educational credentials that require the applicable admission, assessment, practical evidence, review, and owner approval. They are not state licenses, academic degrees, government certifications, or authority to diagnose or treat disease.

07

Accessibility and accommodations

The Institute welcomes requests for reasonable access accommodations. A learner should contact the Institute as early as practical and describe the functional access need; unnecessary medical details are not requested. The Institute will discuss effective options while preserving essential competency and safety requirements.

08

Student records

The Academy maintains records needed to administer identity, enrollment, progress, assessment, completion, certificates, credentials, submissions, and audit history. Access is limited by role. Learners should never upload unnecessary medical records or directly identifying client information. See the Privacy Notice for details.

09

Complaints and appeals

First submit a written concern to the Institute identifying the course, relevant dates, facts, requested resolution, and supporting records. The Institute will acknowledge it, review it without retaliation, provide a written outcome, and identify any internal appeal route. Once a North Carolina licensing or exemption determination is issued, the final catalog will include the regulator and external complaint route that applies.

10

School closure and teach-out

If the Institute cannot deliver contracted instruction, it will notify affected learners, secure academic records, and follow the applicable teach-out, transfer, refund, bond, and Student Protection Fund requirements. No promise of a transfer placement is made unless confirmed in writing.

Regulatory status

Paid public enrollment remains closed

The Institute is requesting a written North Carolina proprietary-school licensing or exemption determination. Until the determination and any required approval are complete, catalog prices are informational and no visitor should send tuition based only on a listing.

  • No claim of North Carolina approval or accreditation
  • No unrestricted public checkout
  • No degree or college-credit representation
  • No guarantee of employment, earnings, licensure, or health outcome
